About IPSD

Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines, but also power over 5,000 other applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Caterpillar’s company strategy includes sustainability as one of four focus areas, and IPSD is engaged and actively preparing green energy solutions for the future.

We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of our Large Engine business in Seguin, Texas.  This position will be required to be onsite five days a week.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain the calendar for the Vice President/ General Manager, which includes scheduling both routine and occasional meetings.

  • Book domestic and international travel, including flights, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.

  • Oversee office space management, including room reservations, catering orders, and inventory of office supplies.

  • Collaborate with other administrative professionals within Caterpillar to assist with training and share best practices.

  • Partner with administrative assistants across Caterpillar facilities in scheduling facility-related events, such as offsite meetings, team-building activities, and family events.

  • Special projects include planning staff meetings, developing presentation materials, and distributing meeting minutes.

  • Manage the processing of visas for international travel.

  • Reconcile credit card charges and process expense reports.

  • Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area and utilizes procedures for problem analysis and resolution.

Microsoft Office: Ability to use the features and functions in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, One Note, Outlook, and Teams).

Summary Pay Range:

$28.15 - $42.25
