Essential Job Functions

Maintenance - Facilities Responsibilities

  • Create Facility needed Work Orders
  • Ensure all building codes are in order and in working order, review of inspection of structure and determine if repairs are needed.
  • Responsible for boilers, air compressors, water treatment, HVAC, fork lifts, roofing and flooring 3rd party contractors. Quoting and Execution
  • Responsible for planning and issuing preventative/corrective repairs needed.
  • Implement PM good habits and provide leadership.
  • Following PPE, GMP, and SSOP’s within the maintenance facilities department
  • Motivate and coordinate Staff. Communication to staff, clearly explain what needs to be done to make sure job gets done.
  • Ensure staff provides proper service to all issue according to their skills.
  • Request Inventory supplies for job specific Work Orders and overall needs of facility.
  • Assist with completion of preventative maintenance programs for all building and ground needs.


Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 5-7 years of working in building maintenance construction or facility maintenance trades experience in an industrial setting.
  • Must be able to manager a team and supervise renovations and additions. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools
  • Highly personable, trustworthy
  • Experience in web-based applications
  • Be conscious about the importance of sanitation and safety
