Are you looking to jumpstart your career in HVAC and plumbing? B.K. Mechanical Services is seeking a motivated and hardworking  Field Service Apprentice (HVAC/Plumbing)e to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties. B.K. Mechanical Services is your "All In House" solution for Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, and Emergency Automated Generator Systems. We are dedicated to providing key environmental systems expertise for both commercial and residential properties. Our mission is to ensure our customers feel confident and comfortable with reliable systems that we help them establish and maintain.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures.
  • Support routine maintenance checks on HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Aid in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with HVAC systems and plumbing components.
  • Assist in installing and configuring thermostats, ductwork, pipes, and related components.
  • Ensure all installations comply with local codes and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continually improve skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC or plumbing.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in HVAC and plumbing installations.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00 with 1 hour lunch break
