1. Must work in a confidential manner to ensure confidentiality of employee and project files.
2. Manages own class rosters including Learning Management Systems (LMS) entries, filing, copying, & scanning documents.
3. Conduct Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) training for craft professionals, focusing on courses such as Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform
4. Deliver engaging and practical training sessions ensuring all training aligns with regulatory requirements, project ES&H standards, and industry best practices.
5. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and requalification requirements
6. Conduct regular evaluations of training effectiveness through assessments, observation, and feedback from participants
7. Collaborate with site leadership, ES&H teams, and workforce development staff to identify training needs and adjust curricula accordingly
8. Act as a subject matter expert and resource for craft professionals, addressing safety-related questions and providing guidance.
9. Promote a safety-first culture by modeling and reinforcing safe work practices during all training activities.
10. Provide hands-on demonstrations and guidance during practical training sessions
Skills and Experience:
1. Strong knowledge and experience in ES&H practices, particularly in construction or heavy industrial environments, with expertise in Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform standards.
2. Proven ability to deliver effective, hands-on training to diverse audiences, with a focus on craft professionals in a high-paced construction environment.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage learners at varying skill levels.
4. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA Trainer, NCCER Certification, or similar) and a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and training methods.
