We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled General Construction Laborer/Handyman with experience in electrical, plumbing, and framing to support facility maintenance, shop improvements, and small construction projects.
Position Overview:
The General Construction Laborer/Handyman will perform a wide range of building maintenance and light construction tasks across our facilities. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident working independently on small projects as well as supporting larger builds or repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general building maintenance and repairs across shop and office areas
Complete light electrical work
Conduct plumbing tasks
Assist with framing and carpentry projects
Maintain building safety standards and ensure compliance with basic codes
Perform drywall installation/repair, painting, flooring, and general handyman work
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend cost-effective solutions
Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely
Coordinate with management to prioritize daily and weekly tasks
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience in general construction, handyman work, or building maintenance
Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and framing
Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and simple plans
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to life 50+ pounds and perform physical labor regularly
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and complete tasks on schedule
Professional, dependable, and safety-minded
Self-motived, working unsupervised and independently
Compensation & Benefits:
$20-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications
