General Contractor - Laborer

About the Role:

Skillforce is hiring General Laborers for a cleaning crew on a long-term data center project in Reno, NV. This position offers consistent, full-time hours (40 hours per week). The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Pay range: $ 21-23 (Depending on experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a construction laborer role or similar physical labor position.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety practices and the ability to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification in OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training.
• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and terminology.
• Ability to work independently and obtain high attention to detail. 
• Previous experience working on a night-shift role with little supervision. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
• Remove and pick-up debris and other materials to prepare surface for next workday. 
• Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete assigned duties accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.
• Removing large and small debris, including packaging materials, leftover construction materials, and general waste. 
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and report any issues or delays.

Shifts:

• 8-10 hours
• 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
