Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Performs installation, layout and identify installation issues before they arise.
- Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to maintain/install complete operational systems.
- Install systems and products at customer's location.
- Prepares for on-site installation/ service call by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and performing on-site work.
- Inspects and maintain vehicle by checking vehicle condition and completing repairs and maintenance service.
- Maintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job.
- Determines material to order for installation and timeliness of need.
- Keeps current all major products concerning installation, operation and application.
- Operation of equipment including forklift, scissor lift.
- Provide daily up-dates on project progress to project superintendent.
- Take and follow instructions regarding the collection and acquisition of tools and equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3+ years Commercial HVAC experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull and push components/equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Work flexible hours as required.
- Able to work well with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must have a valid DL and good driving record.
- Tools are required.
