1. Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
2. Inspection, calibration and performing pre-commissioning check out of instruments and associated sensing devices that measure, indicate, transmit, record and control to Fire and Gas Panels, PCLβs, DCS, Control Panels, Analyzers, and SIS Systems.
3. Adjustment and pre-commissioning check out of pneumatic control valves, valve actuators, motot operated valves and associated controls.
4. Tests accuracy of flowmeters, level meters, pressure sending devices, temperature indicators, controllers, counters, detectors, etc.
5. Troubleshooting as required to locate incorrect wiring or defective devices in the system, utilizes test equipment, such as pressure gauges, mercury manometers, potentiometers, pulse and signal generator, oscilloscopes, transistor curve tracers, and ammeters, voltmeters, and wattmeters.
6. Test functionality of instrumentation in accordance with manufacture instructions, specifications, details, datasheets, and drawings.
7. Able to read drawings; P&IDs, Details, Location, Schematics Isometrics, Loops Diagrams, Control and Connection Diagrams, etc.
8. Prepare mark-ups (redlines) drawings and sketches as required for submittal to Engineering for As-Built.
9. Works in a timely manner, accurately, and maintains an orderly and clean work area.
10. Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and instrumentation (both installed and pre-installed).
11. Prepare and record Calibration Records, QC inspection documents and Loop Check records.
12. Perform installation inspections and Loops Check with Engineers and Client as per Installation Testing Procedures (ITPs).
13. Physically able to work within a construction environment; including extensive walking, climbing, confines spaces, elevated work areas and lifting of tools and equipment up to 40 lbs.
14. Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance with project work rules.
