Burrow Global seeks a highly skilled and experienced Junior Scheduler to join our dynamic engineering team in Houston, TX. As a Junior Scheduler, you will play a key role in successfully executing our projects by leading planning and scheduling activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Schedule Management: Prepare and manage the Project Schedule Management Plan to align with project requirements, ensuring all aspects are covered comprehensively.
  • Baseline Schedule Development: Create the project baseline schedule based on the defined project scope and deliverables, setting a strong foundation for project execution.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain current schedules, providing an accurate basis for forecasting completion dates and manpower requirements.
  • Scope Change Management: Define schedule impact statements for proposed changes to project scope and incorporate approved changes into the baseline schedule.
  • Planning Facilitation: Act as a planning facilitator for the project team, suggesting alternative plans of action when necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Milestone Communication: Identify and communicate critical path milestones to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Cost Controllers, Engineering Leads, Construction Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure effective schedule control.
  • Project Support: Provide planning and scheduling support from project proposals to execution, ensuring timelines are adhered to.
  • Earned Value Analysis: Develop and analyze Earned Value Curves, Resource Curves, Manpower Histograms, and Critical Path analyses to monitor project performance.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in job walks with contractors or clients and host client meetings for reporting purposes, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Mentorship: Engage with and mentor junior schedulers, supporting their professional development and growth within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or construction management is preferred but not required.
  • Experience:Β 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction (EPC) projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6 scheduling software.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cost reporting, estimating, and procurement activities.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
