In an educational and clinical environment, performs general construction, building maintenance and repair, painting, drywall repair and installation. Responsible for maintaining grounds/landscaping at all South Campus and assist other trades as needed.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance functions, including but not limited to: repair/replacement of plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, doors and related hardware, windows and screens, floor covering, furnishing and fixtures, painting/finishing of surfaces, pouring/finishing concrete walks, etc. Perform maintenance requests, communicate with customers, inspect facilities, and assess facilities conditions per established procedures. Assist in securing work sites and equipment, maintain tools, equipment, vehicles and assigned work area in clean and safe condition. Perform grounds/landscaping functions, including but not limited to: pick up and dispose/recycle litter and landscape waste, maintenance of turf areas, flower beds, shrubs, trees, sidewalks, footpaths, and other ground-based areas. May assist other staff to set up, take down, or otherwise help with events and interior/exterior facility maintenance as needed. Ensure work procedures are followed safely and efficiently and work is completed properly. Perform construction, routine maintenance, and labor tasks, and other duties as assigned.
