Job Purpose:
- To ensure that our construction equipment and commercial trucks are running proficiently and at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing scheduled maintenance tasks like lubrication, fluid checks, and cleaning.
- Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with heavy equipment.
- Repairing or replacing worn or damaged components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an equipment and diesel mechanic.
- Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment and commercial trucks.
- Experience in performing scheduled maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid checks, and cleaning.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems, engines, and heavy equipment components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy parts and working in various environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and other mechanics.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities and accessing diagnostic software.
