Qualifications:
Only candidates with unrestricted U.S. work authorization will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred but not required
• 7+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on building systems design (e.g., commercial, residential, or industrial
projects).
• Demonstrated ability to understand calculations, simulations, and system analyses to ensure performance, safety, and energy
efficiency.
• Proficiency in MEP design and analysis software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD, HAP, Trace 700, Tekla, SketchUp or similar/related
software tools).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including applicable materials and technologies.
• Experience in multi-family low-rise and mid-rise construction, including projects utilizing precast concrete systems.
• Proven background working with solar power systems, including integration into residential or commercial developments.
• Candidate should have hands-on design experience in relevant engineering projects.
• Should demonstrate direct involvement in the design process, from concept to execution.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including experience coordinating with external firms or
stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with world-class firms and internal teams seamlessly.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices, energy modeling, and emerging MEP technologies is a plus.
A portfolio showcasing MEP projects will be requested for all candidates.
Additional Details:
• This is an on-site role.
• We do not offer remote or hybrid working opportunities.
• This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 77002.
• The salary range is between $104,000 - $156,000 per year.
• Full-Time Benefits: After completion of a probationary period, you will be eligible for full-time company benefits.
• The ideal candidate must be available to start within two weeks of acceptance date.
