Job Summary:
In partnership with superintendent and project manager, provide functional day-to-day work direction for a crew or group of employees. Operate various heavy equipment such as excavator and loader and small equipment such as skid loaders and mini excavators to aid in construction pipe.
Hours:
- Ability to work hourly full time, generally 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- More/less hours may be required based on weather conditions and project demands
- Winter layoff may occur annually
QualificationsRequired:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work according to Roloff Construction's core values:

- Minimum of two years experience operating construction equipment including an excavator.
- Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour training course within 12 months of taking on the Lead responsibilities required.
Preferred:
- Experience operating an excavator in the underground utility construction industry.
- High school education or equivalent
