Project / Construction Manager - SABER

Location San Angelo, Tx [Goodfellow AFB, TX]

LMC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager (PM) for managing USAF construction projects under our newly awarded SABER IDIQ contract at Goodfellow AFB.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a project execution team, handling approximately 6 - 12  projects simultaneously, 24 – 36 projects each year  totlaing $4 M, with values ranging from  $100 K – $750 K. This role requires the ability to manage 6 - 12 multi-discipline task orders concurrent from exemption to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Contract/ProjectManagement: Oversee day-to-day contract and project management to include; subcontractor acquisition, administration, and oversight. Manage material submittals, shop drawings, and permit processing with Goodfellow AFB and relevant jurisdictions.
• Proposal and Task Order Authority: Develop cost proposals, negotiate, and sign task orders.
• Supervision and Documentation: Supervise on-site project staff to include; superintendents, quality control and safety personnel, and administration personnel and ensure all personnel comply with Goodfellow AFB security requirements by managing necessary documentation for contractor and subcontractor personnel.
• Meeting Participation: Attend and lead all Government/Contractor status meetings, site visits, pre-performance conferences, and final inspections.
• Availability Requirement: Must be available during normal duty hours to meet with the Contracting Officer (CO) within 30 minutes of notification.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as the project manager or equivalent experience on SABER contract, DoD or federal contacts or similar multi-discipline commercial construction projects.

• Construction Background: Federal/DoD or USAF construction management experience is preferred, or equivalent commercial experience.
• Project Scale: Experience with $250K - $1M fast-track design-build projects with 60-240-day performance periods.
• Team Oversight: Ability to manage 6-12 projects concurrently and oversee on-site staff of 4-6 team members.
• Project Management: Proven success managing multi-year IDIQ, JOC, or SABER contracts is a plus.
• Client and Subcontractor Relations: Skilled in managing relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Technical skills: Experience or ability to learn e4Clicks/RS Means line item estimating.
• Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Certifications: OHSA, E-M385, and USACE CQM certifications are preferred but not mandatory, with a willingness to complete these within 6 months of employment.
• Security Requirements: Must pass a background check and be eligible for a DoD facility/base pass.C
