Project Foreman Construction (working foreman)

The Project Foreman Construction is to organize, coordinate and assist in the completion of field activities for construction projects from start to finish. Supervisory experience of subcontractors as well as an understanding of general carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. Ability to plan and schedule the inhouse construction crews for maximum efficiency.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Full Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Able to read drawings and specifications without issue.
• Supervise and schedule in-house work force of 6-10 workers.
• Supervise subcontractors and report any concerns to the Project Superintendent.
• Inspect work progress and quality and update Project Superintendent.
• Estimate materials, manpower and equipment needed to complete projects.
• Manage and track inventory of stored materials, tools, and equipment. Organize, Inspect, and Catalog all tool resources into a tool inventory. Review existing tool inventory to hold accountable team members and report to Project Superintendent.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with OSHA, Infection Control, Life Safety and any other MMH Policies and Procedures.
• Extensive knowledge in all of the construction trades so that any deficient work can be identified and corrected to MMH standards.
• Framing and sheeting of wall.
• Installing doors, frames, and hardware.
• Able to tape, bed and paint.
• Installation of ceiling grid and tile.
• Installation of flooring.
• Miscellaneous general carpentry skills.
• Willingness to train other crew members.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• A minimum of five (5) years construction experience.
• Experience in handling multiple task concurrently
