Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction site projects based in Austin, TX. This role requires a bilingual professional fluent in Korean and English with a deep understanding of Korean corporate culture and its fast-paced, high-demand environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex client requirements, delivering results under tight timelines, and fostering collaboration while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions 

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects to meet timelines, budget, and scope requirements.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules to align with strict deadlines and diverse client needs.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards and adhere to client specifications.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, understanding and addressing unique cultural and business expectations.
  • Proactively respond to client inquiries with the urgency and precision expected in Korean corporate environments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Resolve project issues efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.
  • Review and approve contractor bids, RFIs, submittals, and change requests to ensure project alignment.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Foster teamwork and provide guidance to project teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
  • Support additional business objectives, including proposal development as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in project management, with at least 3 years of experience managing construction site projects.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Korean corporate culture, including its fast pace, high expectations, and complex demands.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
