Project Scheduler – Data Center Construction
Location: Onsite in Reno, NV
We are seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to lead scheduling efforts for a large-scale data center construction project. This is an onsite role reporting directly to project leadership, responsible for developing and managing the master project schedule, ensuring contractor alignment, and driving schedule performance across all project phases from preconstruction through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, own, and maintain the master project schedule using Primavera P6, integrating inputs across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Lead schedule coordination meetings with general contractors, trade partners, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability
- Review and validate contractor schedules for logic, resource loading, critical path accuracy, and compliance with contractual requirements
- Conduct schedule risk assessments, identify potential delays, and develop mitigation strategies and recovery plans
- Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and critical path activities through comprehensive dashboards and executive updates
- Perform look-ahead planning and what-if scenario analysis to support proactive decision-making
- Ensure schedule integration with cost controls, change management, and procurement timelines
- Mentor junior schedulers or project coordinators as needed
Qualifications:

10–15+ years of progressive experience in project scheduling for large-scale construction projects ($100M+)
- Data center, mission-critical facility, or similar industrial/commercial construction experience required
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6 EPPM preferred); working knowledge of Microsoft Project and scheduling best practices
- Proven ability to manage schedules with 5,000+ activities across multiple contractors and complex dependencies
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and commissioning workflows
- Experience with schedule risk analysis tools (e.g., Acumen Foresight, Deltek Risk) a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; PSP or PMI-SP certification a plus
