Job Description
- Develop and implement schedules and work plans for assigned projects
- Communicate with customers and project team members to coordinate schedules, changes, and resolve issues
- Direct field personnel to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Ensure project documentation and quantity reporting is accurate and complete
- Develop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assigned
- Resolve construction problems collaboratively and proactively
- Review and evaluate daily costs, timesheets, truck, and equipment usage
- Monitor employee compliance with safety programs and ensure corrective measures are implemented
- Coordinate with other departments (Quality Control, Equipment, etc.) to ensure materials, inspections, and equipment are in place
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in heavy highway, civil, and site development projects
- Experience with asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utility work preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
