What This Position Does
As a Reconstruction Operations Manager with Paul Davis Restoration, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing reconstruction projects from start to finish. You will lead response teams to be among the first on-site following disasters, directing crews in restoring residential and commercial properties with efficiency and precision.
This position requires strong coordination of teams and subcontractors, careful budget management, and clear communication across all stakeholders. You will spend significant time in the field, ensuring that every project is executed according to plan, meets quality standards, and is delivered on schedule. You will work directly with homeowners, business owners, project coordinators, subcontractors, and technicians, consistently upholding the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities also include monitoring workloads, schedules, labor hours, budgets, and overall project performance to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Professionally represent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrity
- Auditing on-site work completed by technicians to ensure the Paul Davis standard of excellence is maintained
- Monitor and address any safety issues/practices
- Ensure technicians are always in compliance with yearly Respirator Fit Testing
- Provide training on how to care for, don/doff, and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Continuous analysis to ensure compliance with all Paul Davis processes, policies, better business practices, and in accordance with the laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which Paul Davis Emergency Services operates
- Direct contact with customers and employees as needed; communicate in a courteous, professional, and informative manner
- Focus and dedication to providing and teaching excellent customer service
- Participate in meetings with technicians, train and supervise technicians on better business practices, identifying business opportunities, and strategy
- Ensure the team's performance of tarping, board up, water mitigation, mold remediation, contents pack-out, contents pack-in, and cleaning/re-installation services in accordance with Paul Davis and industry standards
- Ensure crews and their vehicles are always ready to deploy in a timely manner where emergency services are needed
- On-site training of Technicians, focusing on quality and accuracy of work, paperwork, and customer service
- Facilitate monthly GGS&R (Goal Setting and Review) meetings with all technicians

Qualifications
- 10+ years of residential/commercial construction experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Team player
- Strong time management skills
- Extremely organized
Physical Requirements
- Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs., lift (frequently) 20-100 lbs.

- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat
