Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in the success of our Service Department, contributing to both individual tasks and team efforts:
  • Lead pool openings, closings, and equipment installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, including heaters, pumps, GFI systems, and filters.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with plumbing, lighting, floor-cleaning systems, and leaks.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and records for production, sales, and equipment.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate service technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers about warranties, future services, and advanced equipment sales.
  • Operate independently while being in regular communication with homeowners and team members.
  • Dispatch directly from the office for assignments.
  • Collaborate with a tech assistant who may accompany you on tasks.
  • Use company-provided tools to complete all tasks.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, representing the company in a presentable and courteous manner.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Experience in a similar service technician role or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on homeowner interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Willingness to complete advanced training and certifications.
