WHO YOU ARE
- Enjoys fixing things and has natural mechanical ability.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Willing to get dirty and be hands-on to ensure shop is clean and organized.
- Must be self-motivated and the ability to organize daily routine.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Proven critical thinking skills in order to properly diagnose and repair equipment.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while also completing work accurately, safely and thoroughly.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Load and unload customer repair and rental equipment.
- Pressure wash and prepare equipment for repair and/or rent.
- Sweep, clean and organize shop.
- Report and document all repair and/or service work performed.
- Handle equipment efficiently and safely.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to mechanics, the Service Parts Advisor, and the Service Manager as needed to ensure smooth operations and workflow.
- Coordinate and work with warehouse and sales department as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and locker area.
- Perform any other duties as may be required, from time to time, by the Service Manager.
