The Staff Pad has partnered with one of the fastest growing and well respected Commercial Companies here in the DFW. They are looking to add a Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. Specializing in commercial construction, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects in retail, restaurant, office, and industrial sectors. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations, lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role demands a proactive leader capable of managing multiple project stakeholders and driving excellence throughout all phases of construction.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily site operations, managing all subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

· Supervise subcontractors and trade crews, maintaining quality standards and adherence to project specifications.

· Enforce job site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and Skyward Construction Group safety standards.

· Coordinate and lead on-site meetings with subcontractors, project managers, and clients to review progress and resolve issues.

· Facilitate clear communication among project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and company leadership.

· Monitor project schedules, adjusting timelines as necessary to keep the project on track.

· Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work complies with all drawings, specifications, and codes.

· Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and labor allocation.

· Identify, mitigate, and resolve potential scheduling or safety risks proactively.

· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.

· Assist in budget monitoring and cost control in collaboration with the Project Manager.

· Lead project closeout activities, ensuring completion of punch lists, client handover, and preparation of all turnover documentation (warranties, manuals, as-builts).

· Traveling Required: some in state as well as out of state. Possible travel areas include: Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Connecticut, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, New York.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted.

· OSHA 30-hour certification and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to maintain high morale and efficiency.

· In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.

· Proficiency in construction management software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to foster a collaborative and solutions-oriented environment on the job site.
