ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Telemetry Data Coordinator to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada.
 
As the Telemetry Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with telemetry data and report building applications to develop reports for various areas within ANA, end-users and customers.  As part of ANA’s excellent service and support, you will collaborate with your team and other departments to determine telemetry data related needs, and developing intuitive ways to meet those needs, such as visually appealing reports.  Additionally, you will be supporting our service and support team, assisting with management of our telemetry/SCADA system and the organization and upkeep of various information records.
 
In your day to day, you will be responsible for ensuring that telemetry data and related information is accurate, complete and up to date, keeping information organized and readily accessible.  Using this data, you will be involved in ensuring data is accurately modeled for producing a variety of reports, largely focused on performance and utilization metrics, and developing these reports.  As part of your role, you will support the telemetry/SCADA and service & support teams by utilizing the remote monitoring system and telemetry data, providing administrative support, and communicating with other departments, helping to ensure our teams provide the highest quality support to our customers. 
 
This position requires data literacy and a commitment to data integrity, creative thinking and good organization skills. Basic mechanical and electrical comprehension are relevant to the data analytics involved in this role. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and detail oriented, possess strong technical skills, and be highly teachable, with a proactive mentality.  Computer literacy, strong attention to detail and organization, good communication skills, along with the ability to work intuitively with your team and individually are key for this role.
 
The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00 - 5:00pm.
This role reports to the Telemetry Scada Supervisor. 

Role & Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and generate reports that deliver accurate analytics on equipment performance and utilization based on telemetry data, ensuring data validity
    • Develop and build new reports from telemetry data to support customer needs and internal departments, providing increased product knowledge and highlight sales points
    • Assess equipment data to determine basic equipment performance status
    • Assist with telemetry data and system management
    • Maintain accurate and up to date customer and equipment detail records specific to the department
    • Assist with streamlining information gathering and recording processes within the department
    • Communicate with other departments and/or customers as needed for details such as telemetry data modeling, equipment related data analytics, report needs, tracking of equipment, customer call out and alarm rosters, system access needs, etc.
    • Proactively engage and contribute to the ongoing development of the role, the team, the department and the organization
    • Data Management: Assist in maintaining and managing telemetry related data storage systems, ensuring data is organized and easily accessible. Assist in the implementation of data management procedures and protocols to ensure accuracy and integrity and monitoring data systems for errors or inconsistencies, aiding with necessary corrections
    • Report Building: Prepare and generate telemetry-related reports based on department and company needs. Assist with collection of various data from SCADA system and other sources and ensuring accurate input into databases. Assist with validation and cleaning of data to maintain high-quality datasets, and perform regular data entry and update tasks to keep databases current
    • Technical Support: Provide technical support for telemetry data-related issues and troubleshoot database problems. Assist in the development and implementation of new data management tools and software. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
    • Collaboration and Communication: Work with various departments to understand their telemetry data needs and provide necessary support. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure telemetry/SCADA information is up to date, and needs and requirements are met
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

    • High School/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
    • 1+ years of proven experience required in a data coordinator or similar role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to utilize advanced features beyond basic functionality
    • Experience with Microsoft Platform tools for data modeling and visualization (e.g., Power Query, Dataflows, Power BI) and connecting to data sources
    • Understanding of data interpretation and analysis
    • Basic understanding of engines and electrical systems, generator specific knowledge is a plus
    • Experience with database management or data modeling a plus
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
    • Commitment to accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Good typing speed and accuracy
    • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively

$21 - $24 an hour
The hourly range for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
