Temporary - Construction Operator

How you will contribute:

Plantible Foods is seeking Temporary Construction Operators to support ongoing site upgrades and facility improvement projects across our Eldorado location. This is a hands-on, practical role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, fixing problems, and helping improve and build operational spaces. You’ll be helping repair, build, install, and improve equipment and infrastructure across our property — including greenhouses, ponds, processing areas, and outdoor facilities.

Duration: 2–3 Month Project (with possibility of extension)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay: Starting at $18/hour

What you will be working on:

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance across greenhouses, ponds, processing areas, and outdoor facilities
• Support site and infrastructure improvement projects
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic repairs on pumps, plumbing, mechanical systems, and equipment
• Assist with installation, setup, and modification of equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and facility issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
• Accurately follow work orders and maintenance documentation
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to prioritize and complete projects
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards
  
  

What you bring to Plantible:

• Experience in construction, maintenance, mechanical, or industrial work
• Comfortable using tools and working with equipment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand 8+ hours per day
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, and frequently lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work outdoors
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
• Strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to a sustainable mission
