We're a General Contractor based in Houston that has been in business for 35+years building a variety of education, medical, public use, manufacturing, and corporate office projects throughout the greater Houston area.
We have an immediate need to make a long-term hire for an APM that is looking to quickly step into a true PM role. This position will be based out of our Houston office. Travel is very minimal due to all of our work being local.
Requirements:
- College Degree in a construction related field
- Prior field experience preferred
- Looking for someone that is hungry and eager to grow into a full-on PM position running their own projects
- Knowledge of the building process
- OSHA Certifications
- Proficient with various construction software's
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn from tenured industry professionals in order to develop stronger skillsets
Responsibilities:
- Work with and support Superintendents with subs & logistics
- Strong emphasis on the financial and contractual management side of things.
- Research information to support other teams and departments as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Keep track of and report on project progress
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time.
Compensation / Perks:
- Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
