Assistant Superintendent

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone ready to grow their construction career, gain hands-on leadership experience, and play an active role in bringing multifamily communities to life.  We’re looking for an Assistant Superintendent who is eager to learn, ready to take ownership, and excited to grow into a future field leader.

Why This Role Is Right for You:

You enjoy being in the field, staying organized, and helping keep projects moving forward. You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and not afraid to step in wherever needed. You want to learn from experienced leaders while building the skills to eventually run your own job site.  If you’re looking for a role where you can grow quickly, take on responsibility, and be part of a high-performing construction team, this is it.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Superintendent in coordinating daily construction activities and field operations.

  • Help manage subcontractors and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

  • Assist with maintaining construction schedules, including 3–4 week look-ahead planning.

  • Track project progress and help identify and resolve scheduling or performance issues.

  • Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and communication with project stakeholders.

  • Participate in project meetings, including subcontractor coordination and OAC meetings.

  • Assist with quality control inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes.

  • Promote and support job site safety by participating in inspections and reinforcing best practices.

  • Help manage punch lists, project closeout, and turnover to property management.

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent to support overall project success.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 3+ years of construction experience, ideally in multifamily or commercial projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred (not required).

  • Strong interest in growing into a Superintendent or field leadership role.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office).

  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Benefits Package:

  • Health Benefits: Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance
  • Wellness Benefits: Employee Assistance Program
  • Virtual Doctor Visits
  • Retirement Planning: 401k program with a company match
  • Employer-Paid Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off- Personal Time, Birthday, Diversity Day, and 8.5 Holidays.
