Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 35.00/hour - Killeen, TX

  • Our client, a full capabilities electrical services provider, is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join their team. They handle residential, industrial, and commercial projects in the Killeen area.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone tracking.
  • Oversee installation, upgrades, and integration of telecom systems (e.g., fiber, wireless, VoIP, network hardware).
  • Manage risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and technical reviews.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Select and manage external vendors, carriers, construction crews, and engineering partners.
  • Verify work quality, ensure compliance with specifications, and negotiate timelines and costs.
  • Review vendor invoices, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Create and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of network designs, as-built drawings, test results, and project closure reports.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, local permitting).
  • Oversee system testing, acceptance, and troubleshooting during deployment.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and organizational guidelines.
  • Work with engineering teams to validate network performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to look at projects and estimate them knowing what material is needed and the labor it will take.
  • Know all materials and testing methods required for fiber and copper, OSP aerial and underground, and ISP.
  • Know how to terminate fiber and copper OSP and ISP and testing and troubleshooting.
  • Schedule crews for work the day ahead, keep up with projects timelines and good with time management.
  • Ability to train Employees on terminating, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands on when needed or when time allows.
  • Hours are 7am to 3:30pm.

Compensation:

  • Base salary to 35.00/hour
