About the Role
Our construction client is seeking a Cost Accountant with strong construction industry experience to join our accounting team in Henderson, Nevada. This is an on-site position with flexible hours and a high-impact role supporting our financial operations.
You’ll manage full-cycle AR/AP processes, support monthly closings, lead cash flow forecasting, and assist with financial reporting and compliance. Experience with Sage 300 CRE is essential. What You’ll Do
✅ Manage AR processes, including AIA billing and collections
✅ Oversee AP transactions and vendor payments
✅ Post journal entries and perform account reconciliations
✅ Create weekly cash flow forecasts and present updates to leadership
✅ Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
✅ Assist with payroll-related filings and tax compliance
✅ Prepare and post WIP Schedules and cost-to-cost revenue adjustments
✅ Calculating and posting depreciation entries
What They are Looking For
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
🔹 CPA preferred
🔹 5+ years of cost accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred)
🔹 Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
🔹 Proficiency with Sage 300 CRE; Sage CRM is a plus
🔹 Advanced Excel and general accounting software skills
🔹 Strong organizational and communication abilities
Salary: $85K-$95K per year, potential bonus, medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and holidays!
