ACS Construction is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Traveling Superintendent to oversee high-quality commercial projects across military, educational, and multi-family facilities. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for project coordination, crew management, and quality control, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to timelines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Schedule and coordinate daily tasks with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines.
  • Represent ACS in meetings, providing timely updates to General Contractors and stakeholders.
  • Lead and document site safety meetings, enforcing ACS safety standards and ensuring compliance.
  • Act as a Quality Control Inspector, auditing safety and quality standards across all project stages.
  • Oversee inventory levels, coordinate material deliveries, and manage project costs effectively.
  • Record daily progress, documenting all work activities, delays, deliveries, and labor requirements.
  • Motivate and support the crew, ensuring high morale and effective teamwork.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Proven experience in construction site management, preferably as a Superintendent.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to manage project timelines.
  • Ability to travel and stay on-site for extended periods.
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance with a proactive approach to solving on-site issues.
  • Must pass a background check and maintain clearances for access to secure project locations.
