Summary/General Purpose
The purpose of this job description is to provide a high-level overview of the role, scope and responsibilities. [LM1] The Testing Operator inflates and deflates vests under the supervision and direction of the production supervisor and/or department manager.
Essential Functions
· Inflates and deflates to test vest subassemblies, following the Working Instruction (WI) for testing
· Repairs subassemblies of vests with repairable glitches
· Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
· Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
· Follows the manufacturing schedule
· Immediately reports to the Supervisor or Manager of any unsafe condition in the working area
· Covers any other team members as required or needed by the business

· Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
· Receive complaints and resolve problems
· Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
Other duties
· All employees must be familiar with AS9100 standard
· All employees must be familiar with the ISO14001 standard
· All employees must be familiar with the standards, policies and procedures pertaining to their position

Preferred Education and Experience
· One year of manufacturing experience or experience as machine operator
